We make sure your photo-eye safety sensors are lined up and working, so your door reverses instantly if something’s in the way. And yes, we do that classic 2x4 test: we put a board under the door to confirm the auto-reverse actually kicks in. During the visit, we lubricate everything that moves—rollers, hinges, springs, bearings, opener chains or belts—with the right garage-door lubricant, so the system stays quiet and you don’t deal with annoying squeaks or grinding. We tighten up any loose hardware, adjust the spring tension so the door balances perfectly and check the limit switches. If your remote or keypad is acting up, we’ll reprogram or replace it. Tracks get cleaned out, and we inspect all the weather-stripping and seals—not just for comfort and energy savings, but to keep out bugs and rain, too.
